TAO-POTS does not apply a fixed minimum order quantity. Buyers can begin with the product styles, colours and quantities that suit the intended market. Send item codes, target quantities and the destination so the assortment and packing plan can be reviewed as a whole.
Include item codes or reference images, finish, estimated quantity, destination country and port, preferred shipment mode, packing requirements and target timing.
Approve natural variation through samples.
Handmade terracotta is not dimensionally identical to machine-moulded plastic. Clay colour, firing marks, moss depth and surface character vary naturally. A physical sample and an agreed tolerance provide a much better production reference than a screen image alone.
Sample confirmation should cover
- Shape, top diameter, base diameter and height
- Drainage hole and matching saucer
- Clay colour and finish direction
- Acceptable handmade and moss variation
- Carton protection, label and barcode requirements
Mix colours, styles and sizes.
Different product families, sizes, clay colours and finish directions can be combined within the same programme. There is also no fixed packing quantity. The final packing method is adapted to the confirmed assortment, protection needs and shipment mode.
Allow 60–90 days for production.
The typical production lead time is 60–90 days after the product details and order are confirmed. Shipment time is separate. Seasonal buyers should work backwards from the required arrival date and include freight variability.
Use the quotation as the commercial source of truth.
The formal quotation should state the selected item, finish, quantity, unit basis, packing, shipment basis and estimated production timing. Buyer-specific testing or compliance requirements should be declared before quotation.
